My love for weddings is a complex thing: a combination of my love for a great romantic story (hello, fellow bookworms!), a craving for lovely things and my deep desire to create beauty.
I enjoy discovering all the fabulous venues, the atmosphere, see all the decorations and little details prepared with so much care, capture all the smiles and hugs and kisses, and just in general, being part of a happy happy day. Seeing someone look and feel their very best on their wedding day is nothing short of magic.
And I’d love to be part of your wedding day too, to create elegant, romantic, timeless images of your celebration.
From the moment I contacted her, I knew Viktoria was perfect for us. She was so kind and accommodating to my endless lists and demands.
Her style is timeless and the details, emotions and memories she captured for us is beyond everything I wanted and more. I spent 4 years planning our wedding day and looked at a lot of photographers in that time but Viktoria stood out by a country mile! I wanted someone to capture the love and give us photos to treasure forever without us or our family posing for cheesy shots all day.
Her calm nature was exactly what every bride needs on her wedding day and she even went as far as helping out with things throughout the day such as fixing buttonholes and finding bottle openers!
Our engagement shoot was also a brilliant opportunity to get to know her some more and we instantly relaxed and got some shots that really helped us know what to do on our big day.
I look back at our photos now and fall a little bit more in love with them every time.
I wouldn’t call myself a ‘photojournalistic’ photographer, but I definitely aim to tell your story. I stay in the background for most of the time and capture the events as they unfold during the day. All the little details. The tears during the ceremony, the laughter during the speeches. The hugs. And all the emotions.
I am big with emotions, I am ruled by my heart. I will most likely cry at your wedding (and/or during the speeches).
I really do care about your day and your love. I only take on a few intimate weddings a year so that I can give the most to each and every one of them.
You can just relax and be yourselves, and I will make sure all the important moments (and the moments in-between) get documented uninterrupted.
When if comes to your portraits, however, I do step in and will take charge of the creative direction. You don’t have to worry about a thing – I will coach you and guide you how to pose, what to do with your hands and even prompt your facial expressions. Being in front of the camera can be very uncomfortable, but I promise I will do my best to make this an amazing experience for you.
I want to capture the love you feel for each other in a way that can be felt by everyone who looks at your photos. I want them to be meaningful to you.
This is your day, and I want you to have the best time of your life, with all your friends and family.
You will get honest and natural photographs of your day – just the way it was.
I believe your photos are more than just a reflection of your wedding, but a collection of memories that document your story, and relationships that brought you to this point. These photographs are not just for you, but to share with your family and friends, and generations to come. They are an heirloom which documents your story, and will last a lifetime.
My editing style is very clean and simple (both colour and black-and-white), I find this is the best way to keep your photographs timeless to ensure you will be just as happy looking at them in 10, 20 or 30 years.
I am based in Bristol and cover Somerset, Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and the rest of the South West, but it doesn’t matter if you plan your wedding further away, I’m always up for an adventure!
Viktoria was absolutely fabulous! Weddings can be very stressful, and I found Vik very helpful and calm. She could put anyone at ease in front of a camera. She was always professional and always there but never in your way. She captured all these beautiful moments for us perfectly, and I absolutely love getting back to my wedding photos.

On the day Viktoria was unobtrusive, extremely polite, yet firm when needed (which was absolutely needed sometimes!). She thought of things we never even considered, she had very creative ideas for staged shots which all turned out beautifully – like running around with sparklers and fireworks shots. She took lovely photos of us in the grounds of the venue and the traditional wedding party lineups. Our favourite however (and this is the main reason we chose her) were the photographs that were taken when people weren’t looking. Those images captured the day perfectly. No posing, not staged, just amazing shots of people drinking, laughing and in the moment. The photos perfectly captured our special day and can’t recommend Vik enough!

An in-person (or zoom) consultation to discuss any questions you might have and to help you plan the timeline of the day.
A complimentary engagement session. Highly recommended so we get to know each other better and also you get at least somewhat used to a camera pointing at your face…
You get me for 8 hours. I like to start with the bridal preparations and finish after the first dance. This works well, because you don’t need to worry about the time and it makes sure I get the relaxed and natural images that everyone loves so much.[Shorter coverage / weekday options are available, please get in touch to discuss!]
Around 500 final images, all individually edited and uploaded for you into an online gallery.
Full resolution digital files.
A typical day’s coverage is starting from £2250. You can have more or less, let’s talk.

Bridal boudoir session. The best surprise gift on the morning of the wedding for your partner!
A second photographer, to add another perspective and for maximum coverage of your day.
Day before / day after coverage. If you have a multi-day celebration or simply would like an extra portrait session of the two of you.

A beautiful, fine art wedding album. I love books, and I fully believe that this is the best way to keep your memories. Your photographs curated and artistically arranged to cover the story of your day, printed on thick, high quality paper, in a leather or canvas bound book.

The service Viktoria Kuti Photography offers is first class. The engagement shoot helped us get to know Vik better and get used to the camera and is a fabulous addition to the package. At our wedding, Vik was the perfect balance between not imposing on our day or making any of our guests feel awkward by her presence and getting in there and getting the photos that mean our wedding day is perfectly documented. We got our images before the time agreed and beautifully packaged. It was a real treat viewing them and we felt she really captured the mood and ambiance of the day. We will definitely be coming back for future photo sessions!
